## Summary
Markly 1.0 is the first public release of the editor. The goal is a stable, signed build that people can download, open their existing notes folder with, and use *every day* without losing anything.

Features

Everything renders as you type.

Headings, bold, italic, strikethrough, highlights, links, inline code, code blocks, quotes, tables, math and task lists. The syntax gets out of the way until you need it.

Point it at any folder and it edits your notes in place.

Format bar on selection

Select text and a Liquid Glass bar appears above it. Active formats are lit; pressing one again removes it. Click the phrase to select it.

Git sync from the sidebar

A button shows the branch and pending changes. One click commits, pulls (rebase) and pushes, or initializes a new repository.

Sam raised that people keep notes inside code repositories, which means Sync currently commits unrelated changes.

Sync should add and commit only the paths inside the notes folder, and the change count should only count those paths.

Priya showed the new settings window. Feedback was positive; the privacy tab in particular reads well.

Focus on paragraph

Everything but the paragraph you're in dims. Typewriter scrolling keeps the line you're writing centred. Hover the text to try it.

Turn off the preview's CDN scripts and remote images; both are enforced with a Content-Security-Policy. Update checks are off until you agree to them.
